The Eastern Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Announce their 2012 Grant Slate
Spokane, WA (May 13, 2012) – The Eastern Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is very pleased with the support that friends, families and benefactors of Eastern Washington have provided. From the generous gifts to the participation in this year’s Race for the Cure®, EWA can feel the pink love! With the donation revenue, the Eastern Washington Affiliate will be granting $355,000 to 14 organizations throughout our 14 counties. Yesterday, 50 grantees, Komen representatives, sponsors and supporters were in attendance of the annual grantee reception. Services that are provided with these grants include education, medical equipment, patient services, screenings, diagnostics and more! With reoccurring grantees, such as Cancer Patient Care, Lourdes Health Network, American Cancer Society and others, we are ensuring health, community and energy for our region. Thank you to all that have helped in this endeavor.
