Race Start Time: 9:00 am Race Course Details While no free parking is provided, there is parking available throughout downtown Spokane with many parking lots in the vicinity of the race site, including parking for a fee at the Spokane Convention Center. We encourage participants to use public transit when possible. Click here for the Spokane Transit Authority schedule of operations. Approximately 10,000 participants are expected this year, so please plan your morning to allow adequate time for traffic and parking. |
Rain or Shine The Eastern Washington Race for the Cure® will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In the event of event cancellation, there will be no refunds. Your entry fee will be considered a donation to the Eastern Washington Race for the Cure®. Medical Aid Medical aid will be available before, during and after the Race. Please do not run or walk without training. Drink plenty of fluids. Please remember that you are participating at your own risk. Safety First For insurance reasons and for the safety of all participants, inline skates, headphones and pets are not allowed in this event. Thank you for your cooperation. |
The Susan G. Komen Eastern Washington Race for the Cure® requires “chip-timing” for all participants who wish to qualify for Bloomsday Second Seeding at a cost of $10.00 per chip plus race entry fee of $25.00 for a total of $ 35.00. Timing chips will be attached to the race number picked up during packet pick-up. You will not need to turn your chip back in - the chips are disposable.

Second Seed placements are based on chip time so you must attach your chip to be eligible for seeding. Second Seed participants will receive a separate race number and start location. Anyone that does not have a separate number and chip will not be allowed in the Second Seed starting area. The 2nd Seed qualifying time for males is 18:40 and a female is 22:30. In order to be eligible for 2nd seeding or special awards you must purchase a timing chip.
NOTE: The 1-Mile Walk will not be timed.
