Go Passionately Pink to help save lives! — Just wear pink, have fun and raise money to fight breast cancer. Be inspired by the multitude of ideas right here, or think of your own. There are so many creative ways to have fun and fight breast cancer.
The 2012 Susan G. Komen Eastern Washington Affiliate Race for the Cure® is all about TEAMS! Our Race teams can change history—the history of breast cancer—by helping the Komen Eastern Washington Affiliate Race for the Cure reach record-breaking levels of Race participation and fundraising. A Race for the Cure team is a group of 10 or more participants who join together for the Race season to have fun and raise funds to empower the breast cancer movement.
Team awards help drive the friendly competition that makes each year better than the last! Numbers for awards are calculated based on registrations and donations received by a specific date. Team members may continue to register until Race Day and raise funds up until June 1st. However, any registrations or funds collected after the cut-off date will not be considered for award calculation purposes.
The number one reason people in your life don't donate to causes they believe in?? THEY'RE NOT ASKED!
Top Ten fundraising teams that raise a minimum of $5,000 are eligible to win a fabulous pink tent at the start/finish area on Race Day. This is a great way for your team to gather at the "Winner's Circle" on Race Day and celebrate all your hard work! We are looking forward to the "fierce" competition for these tents and hope all teams will take on the challenge!
