Submit an electronic design (.jpg format) to Teams@komeneasternwashington.org. You will also need to provide an actual shirt to be on display at the Teams Booth during the Expo. Shirt needs to be dropped off on or before Friday, April 20th and picked up on Sunday after the race. For more information on the Teams T-Shirt Competition (Dress for the Cure), please see page 6 of the Team Captain Handbook.
One of my team members registered as an individual when they meant to join my team. How do they correct this?
Thank you for registering for the Race. In order to change your registration from individual to team member, please send an email to raceinfo@komeneasternwashington.org with the individual's name and the team name they'd like to be added to.
What is a Team Page?
Your Team page is a Web page that people can visit to find a team member or give a donation that supports the fundraising efforts of the entire team. Although the default Team page contains sample text and photos, your Team Captain can customize this page to make it a creative expression of the Team commitment to Komen and our fight against breast cancer.
How do I register if my company is paying my registration fee?
Your company must contact us to set up your team as a corporate pay for online. A special code will be given to you to provide to registrants. It can be set up for your company to pay a dollar amount or a percentage of the fee.
Where are team photos taken at?
Team Photos will be provided on Race Day behind the Convention Center (over by the steps). All team photos are on a first come, first served basis.
What is a qualified team and why do we need to be qualified?
A qualified team means that you have 10 or more registered members on your team. Teams must be qualified in order to be eligible to receive recognition, prizes and/or awards.
Is there a deadline for registration on members of a team?
There is no deadline for registration. Anybody can join your team at any time. However, if you've set a goal for your team to be eligible to receive prizes and/or awards, registrations must be entered into the computer no later than midnight on Sunday, April 15th. If others want to join your team after the 15th, they can still register but their stats will not count toward any team challenge awards.
Can I pick up the race packets and t-shirts for my entire team?
The Team Captain (or designee) is allowed to pick up all race packets and t-shirts for your entire team but you will need to do this at each of the individual packet pickup areas. You can pick up a team roster at the Teams Booth to assist you in this process, but we do recommend that you have each team member be responsible for picking up their own registration packet and t-shirt.
