How to Support

Are you ready to support a Person with Breast Cancer?

Here are 20 ways to do just that…

  • Just Call to Chat.
  • Send emails to co-workers and friends with your friend’s address so others can send cards and letters too.
  • Take up a collection for a day of house cleaning.
    Cook & freeze meals for when she/he doesn't feel like cooking.
  • Throw a hat shower. Have everyone bring a cool hat to help deal with hair loss.
    Bring a milkshake or other easily digestible snacks.
  • Just Call to Chat.
  • Take your friend to lunch and a matinee.
  • Drop by and do some laundry.
  • Run errands (grocery shopping, post office, dry cleaner).
  • Just Call to Chat.
  • Schedule a manicure/pedicure together.
  • Wash her car.
  • Help with yard work (and chat while working).
  • Do an activity you both enjoy (depending on energy level).
  • Arrange a day of babysitting if she/he has kids.
  • Just Call to Chat.
  • Go wig shopping and try on crazy colors (the crazier, the better).
  • Buy her/him a small gift.
  • And finally—don’t take "NO" for an answer. Keep offering to help.
